Architectural Light Through Space

Christine Jurdo

When thinking about movement, I focused on light. Light is one of the
elements that we can’t trace its movements unless looking into under
another form of lens, such as long exposure. In developing a script
along with grasshopper, I was able to turn this 3D figure into a 2D
image along a plane. When exploring more into this light trail, I began
to wonder, if I could recreate a 2D image into a 3D image. The use of
mirrors, and how the light would be positioned along with the robot.
When thinking architecturally, we are always moving through both
planes, but when using the robot it allowed me to use a different form
of drawing.
